Available for Adoption

On this page, you will find all the sweet fosters currently ready for adoption! If you are interested in adopting one of our kittens, please click here to apply.

Please note: We do not adopt kittens into homes where they would be the only feline. It is essential for the physical, emotional, and cognitive health that they have a feline companion. Very rarely do we make exceptions to this policy -- if we do, it's in the best interest of the feline (i.e. a cat aggressive feline).

Please Note: We are not hosting any in-person meet and greets at this time. Protecting our fosters and adopters is our priority. We are a foster-based rescue which means our kittens are in homes, not a facility.

You can read more about our adoptable felines and see more photos via their PetFinder profiles. Click here to see the list of available kittens on PetFinder.

Mellie

female; 8 months old

  • spayed

  • vaccinated

  • FiV/FeLv neg

  • microchipped

Mellie is a very special girl looking for a forever family who will love and accept her, poop nuggets and all.

I rescued Mellie from a euthanasia list in May 2020. She was surrendered to the shelter unable to use her hind legs - one was badly broken, she had pelvic and spinal fractures, and her tail was essentially detached. She had surgery to repair her leg, her tail was amputated, and she had a lot of rest... and guess what? You'd never know she suffered those injuries beyond noticing she doesn't have a tail!

Mellie is just like any other cat - she loves to play with toys and chase the younger kittens around, she climbs, runs, jumps, and has no limitations. The only problem? She doesn't always poop in the litter box. This issue is very likely due to the trauma she suffered, she cannot fully feel when she needs to have a poop... so you'll find poop nuggets. The good news is that Mellie does have full control of her bladder and uses the litter box to urinate in.

REMINDER: Our policy is that we do not adopt single kittens into homes where they would be the only feline. They must be adopted into pairs OR into a home where a young, playful cat, already resides.

Adrian

female; 1.5 years old

  • spayed

  • vaccinated

  • FiV/FeLv neg

  • microchipped

Meet Adrian! Due to spinal trauma at a young age, Adrian does not have full control of her bladder. She needs her bladder expressed 2-3 times a day to avoid accidents. This is easy to learn and only takes a few minutes of your day!

She loves to cuddle at night and will wake you up with adorable chirps and making biscuits on your chest! She is very easy going with new people and also gets along with well-behaved dogs.

Grace

female; 8 months old

  • spayed

  • vaccinated

  • FiV/FeLv neg

  • microchipped

Grace is incredibly sweet and affectionate; she comes running when called and is quick to make herself comfortable in her foster mom's lap. She is incredibly nurturing - her sister had 8 kittens and Grace played a huge role in raising them (grooming them, cuddling them). Grace is also VERY playful and enjoys wands and other interactive toys.

Grace does really well with dogs and other cats.

Noelle

female; 3.5 months old *READY MID-LATE JANUARY*

  • spayed

  • vaccinated

  • microchipped

Noelle is our one-eyed princess! She is a total sweetheart who loves to play with toys and is curious about the world around her. Noelle has thick, soft, fur and she is an expert biscuit maker. She can be shy around new people, but once you win her over there's no going back!

Moose

female; 1.5 years old

  • spayed

  • vaccinated

  • FiV/FeLv negative

  • microchipped

Moose is a sweet, independent, cat who enjoys lounging around in sunny spots, playing with her favorite toys, and following her foster mom around like a shadow.

Moose does need time to adjust to new humans - she isn't shy, she just needs to get comfortable with you before she opens up and shows her sweet and playful side.

Moose would likely do best as the only cat in the home. She does need time to adjust to other pets.

Josephine

female; 1.5 years old

  • spayed

  • vaccinated

  • FiV/FeLv negative

This beauty is looking for a quiet home with humans who are patient and loving.

Josephine gave birth to 6 beautiful babies on the streets of Philadelphia. We successfully rescued the entire family, and now it's time for Josephine to find a home to call hers forever. Being a street cat means that Josephine is still adjusting to life indoors - when she goes to her forever home, she will need to learn to trust you as her fear response will be to shut down and hide. We can absolutely walk you through a transition and set you up for success with this lovely lady.

She does enjoy being pet and curling up alongside her foster, who has been working with her for the past 6 weeks.

Please check back - adoptable kittens are placed on the site as they get closer to their spay/neuter date! You can also follow along on Instagram at charlies__army
