Charlie’s Army is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue based in Philadelphia, PA. We are small, independent, and entirely focused on saving the animals who need it most.

The cats and kittens who come to us aren’t the easy ones. They are found outside trying to survive, eating whatever they can. They are orphaned babies, too young to live without their mother. They are left in boxes in the cold. They are pulled from the city shelter after being placed on the euthanasia list.

They come to us sick, scared, and often fighting to stay alive. Many require constant, around-the-clock care. We step in when no one else will.

Every animal that enters our rescue is given the time, medical care, and support they need to heal. Our goal is simple but everything to them: that they leave us safe, healthy, and finally able to live a life where they are warm, fed, protected, and truly loved.

Because of what they’ve been through, and because we give them everything we have, we are very intentional about where they go next. We hold our adopters to a high standard, because these animals deserve nothing less.
